Hematology

Our Hematology Laboratory is equipped with advanced technology devices in order to perform not only basic, but also specialized hematology tests.

The Department is headed by clinical hematologists in order to provide a complete hematological evaluation of patients.

The department carries out detailed screening after taking a medical history, and performs microscopic evaluation of peripheral blood, taking into account imaging and laboratory data.
Myelograms and osteomyeloid biopsies are also performed.

In case that is required, the therapeutic treatment of hematological – oncological cases is performed in the department of pathological oncology, always under the coordination of experienced and distinguished hematologists – oncologists.
