Emergency Dpt
Therapis General has an Emergency Department, which is fully operational 24 hours a day, which can safely and effectively deal with all emergencies. The department is also supported by our ambulance service.
The Therapis ER Department is staffed by a Surgeon, Cardiologist, Orthopedist and Pathologist, all 24 hours a day.
It is supported by the Radiology Department, the Microbiology Laboratory and has all the doctors of the other specialties always on call.
The Emergency Department deals with a large number of emergencies. Some of them are:
Heart attack
Loss of consciousness
Respiratory problems
Drowning
Bleeding
Bone and joint injury
Poisoning
Fever
Paroxysm
Eye trauma
Bite – sting
Mild burn
Heat stroke
Hypothermia
