Receiving Medical Records and Test Results

Copies of Medical Records

To obtain a copy of a patient’s medical record, a written request is required.

Medical records are confidential, and the patient must present his valid ID card to receive them.

In the case of a relative or companion wishing to receive a copy of a patient’s records or test results, they must have a signed authorization from the patient (with signature verified by a Police Station, Citizen Service Center (KEP), or via www.gov.gr).

Information about the patient’s hospitalization and condition is provided only by the attending physician and is not available over the phone.

RECEIVING TEST RESULTS

Test results are delivered by the Patient Reception and Service Department to the patient or to an authorized person.

Results can also be sent via email.

For instructions on how to receive your results, please contact the secretary of the department where your tests were performed.
