Emergency Cases
At Therapis General Hospital, the Emergency Department (ED) operates 24 hours a day, fully prepared to handle all emergency cases safely and effectively.
The ED at Therapis is staffed around the clock by a Surgeon, Cardiologist, Orthopedic Surgeon, and Internist. It is supported by the Radiology Department and Diagnostic Laboratories, while on-call physicians from all other specialties are also available at all times.
A wide range of emergency cases are treated in the Emergency Department, including:
- Heart attack
- Loss of consciousness
- Respiratory problems
- Choking
- Bleeding
- Bone and joint injuries
- Poisoning
- Fever
- Seizures
- Bites and stings
- Minor burns
- Heatstroke
- Hypothermia
