Intensive Care Unit
Available for admissions 24 hours a day
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) offers a highly important support service in overall hospital operation, while there is a growing demand for ICU beds across the health services sector.
In the unit setting, the patient is supported during the critical stage of failure of one or more vital functions. He/she is undergoing mechanical respiratory support with invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, while at the same time intensive monitoring of vital functions is carried out with the possibility of immediate and specific therapeutic manipulations.
In our multi-purpose ICU, which has five beds, we hospitalize and treat patients with serious health problems of pathological, cardiological and surgical diseases. The ICU is fully equipped and has qualified staff who can receive cases 24 hours a day. It supports the operation of all departments and hospitalizes, cases with acute dysregulation and need for intensive care, surgical and cardiac cases requiring immediate, post-operative or post-intervention follow-up. It is therefore characterized by particularly extensive experience in managing a variety of cases, providing safety and unlimited autonomy for both surgical and pathological specialties.
Our ICU, among others, supports the following:
Hemodynamic measurements
Respiratory support
Hemofiltration and hemodialysis methods
Intracranial pressure measurements
