Dr. Sotiria Mastoraki MD, PhD

• She worked as a rural physician at the General Hospital of Trikala and the Health Center of Kalampaka (October 2004 to February 2006).
• She worked as a resident in the 3rd Surgical Department of the METAXA Oncology Hospital (2006 to 2009).
• She worked as a University Fellow at the University Vascular Surgery Clinic of ATTIKON Hospital (2015).
• She worked as a scientific associate at the University Vascular Surgery Clinic of ATTIKON Hospital, specializing in Diabetic Foot (2016).
• Since 2015, she has been collaborating with the private clinics of the HYGEIA Group (HYGEIA and MITERA).
• She also collaborates with IASO and LEFKOS STAVROS

• She was admitted to the Medical School of the University of Athens through national entrance examinations (1998).
• She completed her studies in 2004.
• She specialized in Vascular Surgery at the Vascular Surgery Unit of the 3rd University Surgical Clinic of ATTIKON Hospital (2010 to 2014).

• She completed her PhD thesis at the University Cardiac Surgery Clinic of ATTIKON Hospital, in collaboration with the experimental surgery department of the pharmaceutical company ELPEN PHARMACEUTICAL, on the topic: “The protective role of simvastatin in the formation or progression of abdominal aortic aneurysm dilation.”
• She successfully completed a postgraduate program at the University Vascular Surgery Clinic of ATTIKON Hospital, in collaboration with the University of Milan BICOCCA, gaining specialization in endovascular techniques (2013).
• She was trained for 6 months in performing ultrasound examinations in vascular patients, receiving the corresponding certification from the Ministry of Health.

• Her scientific activity includes numerous publications in international journals.
• She regularly participates as a speaker at Greek and international conferences.

Since 2015, she has been an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Phlebology Society, actively participating in the organization of conferences and educational programs on modern techniques for the treatment of venous diseases.
